About Us

Mission.

The PTO is an organization whose purpose is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of the School. Its goals are to complement the school curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate and grow.

The success of the PTO can be measured in the cooperative spirit with which parents and staff work together to share their care and concern for students. The PTO’s success can be seen in the student’s appreciation for their school, their teachers and the opportunities presented.

We as PTO are supportive of the School mission statement: We support the learning journeys of all members of our school community, with collaborative, innovative approaches and reflective practices that honor and celebrate the diversity of our Chamisa families.

Vision.

The PTO strives to create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment that will lead to intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth and the development of positive self-esteem. It is the responsibility of the staff, administrators, parents and community to foster this environment.
