The Chamisa PTO has one large fundraiser in the fall every year, but there are ways to support your PTO year round.  These efforts are crucial in order to support the PTO sponsored events throughout the year, as well as, the teacher funds we are able to provide.

Here are all the ways you can support your school year ’round…

Smith’s Bucks.

The Chamisa Elementary PTO works with Smith’s Grocery to raise funds for our school. Smith’s gift cards can be purchased through the PTO allowing you to receive dollar for dollar the amount you place on the card. The PTO receives up to 4% of every order from Smith’s, with no additional money on your part.

If this is your first order the PTO will give you a new Smith’s gift card; and it will be delivered to you.   Cards should be recharged and ready to use two business days after the due date.  Orders are due by the 1st and 15th monthly.

SCRIPS Gift Cards.

Fundraise while you shop! Scrips gift cards are the same gift cards you can purchase from a retailer, but a percentage of the gift card amount goes to the PTO. With hundreds of the country’s biggest brands, including grocery and department stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels, and home improvement.

Purchase cards for a gift or to use at places your family shops at already.  The more Chamisa families participating, the bigger the earnings!  Some popular retailers include: Amazon, Domino’s Pizza, Sprout’s, REI, Target, Sam’s Club, Whole Foods, Zappo’s and many, many more.

Orders can be submitted any time but is recommended to submit around the 1st monthly.  Send order form and payment in an envelope marked PTO with your student or drop it at the front office

Box Tops & Labels for Education. 

Purchase products with Box Tops or Label for Education (usually on Campbell Soup Cans) and provide to the school – it’s that simple!

Amazon Smile.

AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com. The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the PTO.

When first visiting AmazonSmile, you will prompted to select a charitable organization:

  1. Sign in to amazon.com on your desktop or mobile phone browser.
  2. From your desktop, go to Your Account from the navigation at the top of any page, and then select the option to Change your Charity. Or, from your mobile browser, select Change your Charity from the options at the bottom of the page.
  3. Select a new charitable organization to support.
