Parent Advisory Council (PAC).

The PAC is a way for the Superintendent to communicate directly with parents.  This site and PTO newsletters will be updated with the most recent topics from PAC agendas.

Hot topics this year have been: substance abuse issues; being able to feed students; bullying; school safety.

Special Services for your Student.

Presented by Juvenile Justice Advisory Board (JJAB).

JJAB connects people to resources that better enhance their lives.   JJAB services are available to anyone who resides in LA county or has a student in LAPS.

Meet Family Resource Specialists, Danielle Sutherland and Cindy Koehler, assist children (infants through elementary school age) and their families.  All children who reside in Los Alamos County or who attend the Los Alamos Public Schools may receive the free, supportive services.

The Family Resource Specialists provide case management services and connect children and families to needed resources and services.  These may include supportive services for: school struggles, recreational activities, emotional health, parental concerns, family distress, and lack of basic needs.  Services are confidential.
